The Typing Institute of America is dedicated to the establishment and maintenance of acceptable standards for typing. This includes standard keyboard typing, English language general certification, as well as specialized forms of typing such as transcription, 10 key, etc. There are also subsets of specialized typing. For example, transcription includes medical transcription, legal transcription, insurance transcription and so on.
Companies and organizations of all kinds should only accept certificates of accomplishment which have the following phrase:

Only officially approved and sanctioned organizations are provided the right to use this prestigious phrase. Employers worldwide have learned to trust the value of a Certificate from authorized service providers with the seal of approval of the Typing Institute of America.
Each person receiving a certificate from an authorized provider also receives a link to provide an employer the ability to verify their scores and skill levels. That is why employers trust the Institute’s Certification System. |
