Through our extensive research and review with leading educational institutions, we have found that there are few, if any, standards when establishing a learning curriculum.
Most formal educational organizations provide instruction to improve typing skills and some form of skill verification through various testing methodologies. The Typing Institute of America is working diligently to establish educational standards that are synchronous with the research findings we have utilized in setting the performance standards for each level of our established certifications.*
Consult with your local schools, colleges and universities to ensure they are utilizing the standards as set by the Institute. At minimum, all organizations should be aware of the performance standards and levels of certification related to these standards.
